Through various media outlets, including TV One, Radio One, Global Grind, Madam Noire and many more, they create constant awareness of national disparities.  One disparity that remains unchanged is the dysfunctional relationship between financial institutions and the black community. It’s no secret systemic discrimination has led Black Americans to shy away from banks, creating a sentiment of distrust and unpredictability of a traditional banking relationship.  As Urban One continues to advocate for the betterment of Black Americans, they created ONE VIP, a trusted digital banking service that is predictable, accessible and recirculates black wealth.
